Long-Term Safety and Maximum Stability with the Motiva Preservé® Method

The Foundation for Maximum Safety: Preserve Tissue, Do Not Cut

The desire for durable, stable results is fundamental. The Motiva Preservé® Method was explicitly developed to meet this demand by combining surgical precision with patented technology.

The revolutionary technique protects the natural breast tissue in four key areas:

What makes Motiva Preservé® so revolutionary?

  • Natural Movement Guaranteed by Pectoral Muscle Preservation: The implant is placed in front of the chest muscle without compromising it. This keeps your breast naturally mobile – without visible deformation when flexing the muscle (Animation Deformity).

  • Preserve Tissue, Do Not Cut: The 3D Breast Pocket is created not through surgical incisions, but through gentle, controlled elongation using the Motiva® Inflatable Balloon. Your natural supportive structures remain fully intact.

  • Long-Term Stability with Clinical Proof: The creation of this stable nest leads to superior long-term results. Clinical studies confirm: After three years, the rate of implant displacement is 0%. Your breast stays exactly where it belongs.

  • Minimal Complication Risks: The sterile “No-Touch” technique during insertion and the low-inflammation Ergonomix2® implants reduce the risk of capsular contracture to less than 1%.

Questions and Answers

Are the Motiva Ergonomix2® implants safe?

Yes. Motiva Ergonomix2® implants feature Q Inside® Safety Technology with a unique worldwide RFID chip for lifelong traceability. They are CE- and FDA-approved and are among the most thoroughly studied implants globally. In combination with the Preservé® Method, the risk of capsular contracture drops to under 1%.

What distinguishes the Preservé® Method from conventional breast augmentations?

The Preservé® Method uses a patented, inflatable balloon to create the breast pocket instead of traditional surgical incisions. This ensures that the natural supportive structures of the tissue remain fully intact. The implant is placed in front of the chest muscle and inserted using the “No-Touch” technique, which minimizes the risk of bacterial contamination.

What does “Animation Deformity” mean, and how does the Preservé® Method prevent this issue?

Animation Deformity refers to the visible deformation of the breast when the pectoral muscle is flexed, which can occur with subfascial or submuscular placement. Because the Preservé® Method places the implant in front of the Musculus pectoralis major and does not cut or displace the muscle, the natural movement of the breast is fully maintained.

How stable are the results long-term?

Extraordinarily stable. A clinical study confirmed a rate of 0% inferior displacement (slipping downwards) after three years. The atraumatic creation of the breast pocket through controlled elongation instead of surgical dissection preserves the natural supportive structures, ensuring lasting positional stability.

How high is the risk of capsular contracture with the Preservé® Method?

The risk is below 1%. The combination of the “No-Touch” insertion technique using the Insertion Sleeve and the low-inflammatory Motiva Ergonomix2® implants with Q Inside® Safety Technology minimizes bacterial contamination and inflammatory reactions to an absolute minimum.

What is the “Tissue Preservation Space,” and why is it important?

The Tissue Preservation Space is the 3D breast pocket created not by incisions, but by controlled elongation of the tissue with the Motiva® Inflatable Balloon. This atraumatic technique preserves blood supply, nerve pathways, and connective tissue. The result: faster healing, less pain, and more natural results.

For whom is the Preservé® Method particularly suitable?

  • The method is ideally suited for patients who:
  • Desire long-term stability without Animation Deformity.
  • Are actively engaged in sports and do not want to compromise the pectoral muscle.
  • Value minimal complication risks.
  • Want to preserve the natural movement of the breast.
  • Seek fast recovery.
  • want a Breast Augmentation Without General Anesthesia

What exactly does the “No-Touch” technique mean?

In the No-Touch technique, the implant is inserted using a sterile Insertion Sleeve without coming into contact with the skin, tissue, or surgical gloves. This reduces the risk of bacterial contamination to an absolute minimum and significantly contributes to lowering the risk of capsular contracture.

Can the breast muscle be damaged by the Preservé® Method?

No. On the contrary—the Preservé® Method was explicitly developed to fully preserve the Musculus pectoralis major. Since the implant is placed pre-muscularly and no muscle detachment occurs, muscle integrity is 100% maintained.

How long does healing take after breast augmentation with the Preservé® Method?

Thanks to the tissue-preserving technique, healing is significantly faster than with conventional methods. Most patients report less swelling, reduced pain, and a swift return to daily activities. Avoiding muscle dissection accelerates recove
